GIMUNC welcomes all young people who are passionate about international affairs and are willing to express their views.We encourage new delegates to try their luck and will provide training resources to support your participation.
After you have submitted your application form, the Secretariat will review all applications and release the results of seat allocation at the designated time.Please remember to keep an eye on your mailbox or our follow-up notification to confirm whether you have been allocated a seat.
First of all, congratulations on completing your registration!Next, please be patient as we wait for the results of the seat allocation to be announced (expected to be released in the fourth round of announcements).In the meantime, you can pay attention to the public number and official website of the conference for updates, familiarize yourself with the basic rules and procedures of the Model United Nations, and prepare yourself psychologically and intellectually in advance for the seats you may get.
Once you've secured your official seat, we recommend it:
- Carefully read the issue background document (Background Guide);
- Start writing a Position Paper;
- Participation in training sessions or online orientation sessions organized by the General Assembly;
Please don't worry. You can feedback the problem through the contact information we provide (such as email or technical support form) and we will troubleshoot and solve the problem for you at the first time.
It is possible. If you find that you have filled in the information incorrectly before the registration deadline, please contact the Secretariat by e-mail as soon as possible to explain the situation and we will assist you in making corrections. Please try to fill in the information accurately at one time to improve the efficiency of the review.
We will publish the official seat list in the fourth round of announcements (expected to be in early July) and notify delegates by email.Please check your mailbox regularly and pay special attention to junk mailboxes to avoid missing mail.
It is recommended that you carefully evaluate whether you will be able to attend the entire conference before making a decision to register.If you really, really want to attend but the time is still undecided, you can also indicate this in the notes and we will try our best to assist you in arranging a suitable role or capacity.
